Cuthouse is built so that your photos stay with you. This page explains the little information that is processed and why.
Who is responsible

Your photos
Background removal runs entirely in your browser, on your device. Photos you open or paste, and the cut-outs made from them, are processed only there. We never receive them. Cuthouse does not keep your photos after you close or reload the page.
The cut-out model download
The first time you remove a background, your browser downloads the open-source IS-Net cut-out model from our own server (models.cuthouseapp.com, hosted by Cloudflare) and keeps it for later and offline use. This download works like loading any page of this site; no photos are sent with it.
Launch list
If you ask to be told when Pro launches, we store your email address and the date you signed up, send you one confirmation, and email you once on launch day. After that email we delete the address. The legal basis is your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Reply “remove” to our email, or write to hello@cuthouseapp.com, to be taken off the list at any time.
Purchases
Pro is not on sale yet. When it is, it will be sold through Lemon Squeezy (Lemon Squeezy, LLC) as merchant of record, and this policy will be updated before then.
Emails from us are sent through Resend (Resend, Inc.). Emails you send to hello@cuthouseapp.com are received through Cloudflare Email Routing and read by us, with help from our support inbox provider AgentMail. These providers process your email address and message only to deliver and handle your email.
Hosting
The website is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc. Like every web host, it processes technical data such as your IP address when your browser requests a page, to deliver it securely. We do not use these logs to identify you.
No tracking
We use no analytics, advertising, tracking cookies or third-party fonts. Fonts are served from our own site.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask for access to, correction of or deletion of the personal data we hold about you (in practice, launch-list sign-ups and emails), and object to its processing. Email hello@cuthouseapp.com. You can also complain to the Luxembourg data protection authority, the CNPD (cnpd.public.lu).
